Product Description

Manufactured from the plasma of animals of 100% Australian origin that have undergone veterinary ante-mortem and post-mortem inspections, as well as having been approved for human consumption.

Description: Pale-cream to white coloured powder

Grade A: This BSA product is a highly purified BSA product that has been fortified with a specially formulated 'cocktail' of non-animal synthetic lipids for the enhanced growth of fastidious organisms such as Leptospira. This product has been shown to significantly enhance the growth of cultures through the availability of essential nutrients which are absent in highly purified BSA fractions. It has also been shown to significantly improve the performance of mammalian cells when used as an adjunct in culture media.
Grade B: This BSA product is a premium grade product that is ideal for a variety of applications requiring a product with high protein purity and low endotoxin. It is also fatty acid free, IgG free, protease free and is bovine virus free.
Grade C: This BSA product is a bovine IgG free, protease free, standard grade reagent ideal for diagnostic and research applications that require high protein purity.

22% and 30% Grade B liquid BSA also available in a 1 litre pack size.

Applications include: protein standard, general purpose research reagent, additive in specific diluents, blocking agent in immunoassays, vaccine production, stabilizer for certain types of protein ligands.
